Heather Irmiger is a professional mountain bike athlete with Trek Factory Racing. Her prolific racing career continues in 2013 as she transitions into a different segment of her sport: Enduro Mountain Bike Racing. Her history as a top ranked International cross-country racer brings many strengths to this emerging discipline which requires strength, stamina, fitness and finely tuned skill.

Residing in Boulder, CO Heather worked her way into a professional mountain bike career while holding a position as a researcher at the University of Colorado where she earned her Master’s Degree in Integrative Physiology. She catapulted onto the U.S. national scene in 2005 and 2006 with major victories at several top-level national events. Since then she has grown into a multiple U.S. National Champion and full-time international competitor. With accomplishments that include a World Championships Single Speed title, multiple Pan American medals, top 10 World Cup finishes and a 6th place finish at the 2010 UCI World Championships, Heather is one of the most diverse and talented athletes of her time.
When not racing and traveling the world, Heather enjoys working closely with her sponsors on product development and refinement as well as energetically socializing with supporters and fans. Off the bike, Heather loves to cook, practice hot yoga, hike with her dogs in the mountains outside of Boulder, backcountry ski, and ride her motorcycles.
